I’m Canadian but I typically quote tips in USD. Of course that’s entirely subjective! USD is best for tipping in Mexico & the Caribbean šŸ™‚

Hi Jenn – it depends on where we are! If we’re in Mexico I will typically tip in pesos since as a Canadian, it’s cheaper for us to buy. USD is widely accepted and most commonly used, however. I use USD for everywhere else we go in the Caribbean!

Yes, they have a hairdryer but not many have diffusers. As a curly hair lady I have never stayed at a resort or hotel that offers a diffuser for curly hair people. We have stayed at very exclusive hotels and resorts and I always ask out of curiosity and not once have they been able to accommodate my request. Also, traveling with just a diffuser sounds like a great idea but even the universal ones don’t always fir the hairdryers.
