It doesn’t get quite as cold on this side of Canada (and we have to be a bit more careful about the routes we choose due to avalanche danger) but I agree with all your tips and I also LOVE hiking and snowshoeing in the winter.

I love the lack of bugs and I feel like once you get home everything feels extra cozy if you have had some fun outside. 🙂
