Oh I can´t wait for snow! Haven´t had any this year where I live, but my home country is fully coverede in snow already – sledding is so much fun nd brings out the child in me haha, great post!

Sledding always reminds me of my childhood! I grew up on a small mountain in Austria and we did it every winter 🙂 It’s just so much fun!

That’s a great question! Usually we’ll just check the weather reports to know if it’s going to be a slick day, but both of your ideas are right! It happens when the snow melts and freezes. It kind of gets packed down and becomes crusty haha – and very little friction!

I’ve never been sledding before, it looks (and sounds) like lots of fun. But, extreme newbie question here, how can you tell if it’s going to be an ‘icy’ day out there? Does that usually happen after it rains or after a warmer day?
