Isn’t it amazing?! It was SO peaceful at the Borghese Gardens!! I’ll have to keep the metro in mind for our next visit!

Walking is for sure the best way to get around. I also used the metro a bit which was nice as my hotel was a bit too far to walk to the sights. The Borghese Gardens are something we stumbled on and I recommend it to anyone visiting Rome!

I loved the sights and the food but didn’t have the best experience in Rome between being pickpocketed and having a seriously terrible hotel. We laugh about the trip now, so maybe it’s time I go back. I tried gelato like you tried carbonara. The food was amazing everywhere we went. I definitely did more walking than I expected to and we skipped the hop on/off bus, which sounds like it was a wise choice

It’s mine too! I adore Rome so much. Sadly we had to cancel our September trip…but my heart is longing to return. Definitely a favourite of mine as well.

Rome is my favorite city in Italy (maybe my favorite in Europe)… I love how Historic it is! You outlined some things that I’ll definitely have to go back and try…and I love the picture of the aperol spritz…my fave drink 🙂
