This Niagara Falls attraction is worth doing especially if you have kids. I can’t believe I hadn’t done it until recently but it really provides a great overview of how Niagara Falls and the Niagara Gorge was formed in a short, fun, and interactive experience!

What is Niagara’s Fury?
Niagara’s Fury gives you the opportunity to travel back 10,000 years in time to the last Ice Age. This momentous period in time is when the formation of the Niagara Gorge was formed.
An animated pre-show explains the history spanning the period of time when the Great Gorge was formed, as well as Niagara Falls. It’s a great backstory to give you the insight you need to fully appreciate the theatre you move into afterwards.
The physical experience on how Niagara Falls was formed is a fun one at Niagara’s Fury! The moving platform below you helps you grasp the sheer force and power of nature while being surrounded by stunning visuals.
Your poncho comes with a hood, and if you’re standing near the outside of the platform, you may want to put it up! The temperature drops 20 degrees to simulate the Ice Age and snow starts to fall while water bubbles and sprays around you.
You’ll see, hear, and feel thunder, lightning, and wind. The mist surrounding you as you feel the floor tremble beneath you as you make your way through time and down the Niagara River.
This 4D, Universal Studios-style attraction is a great way to not only get the historic and geographic aspect of Niagara Falls, but also some fantastic visuals you may only be otherwise able to get with a helicopter tour!
How long does it take to do Niagara’s Fury?
Niagara Fury begins with an adorable 8 minute animated movie featuring a young Beaver struggling with writing an essay for detention. Feeling unmotivated, a book falls on his head and he’s transported back in time to learn how the Ice Age formed Niagara Falls. It’s super cute and a fun experience for kids and adults alike!
From there, you move into a separate, 360 degree moving 4-D theatre to witness the Creation of the Falls in a 6 minute, multi-sensory film.
The entire Niagara Fury’s experience lasts approximately 15 minutes, not including any time waiting in line or waiting for the film to start.
Good to know: You can’t take any photos or film inside Niagara’s Fury. Enjoy the experience!
Niagara’s Fury Tickets and Pricing
Tickets for Niagara’s Fury can be purchased at the Table Rock Welcome Centre on the upper level (right next to the entrance for Niagara’s Fury) or are included in all the Niagara Falls attraction packages.
The pricing for Niagara’s Fury is $17.50 for adults 13+, $11.50 for children 3-12, and free for those 2 and under.
If you are planning to spend at least a day in Niagara Falls visiting various attractions, I highly recommend purchasing an attraction pass.
It will save you money and includes the WEGO bus pass to get around, so you don’t have to worry about paying for parking around the Niagara Falls area – which is $35 alone just at Table Rock!
Where to park for Niagara’s Fury
The closest parking lot for Niagara’s Fury is at Table Rock Centre (Falls Parking Lot A) in Niagara Falls, located at 6635 Niagara Parkway.
This parking lot, while large, fills up very quickly since it’s the main spot to park in Niagara Falls. It’s also the most expensive, at $35/day. Yikes!
My advice to you, is even if you’re visiting for a day or two, to purchase the Niagara Parks Annual Parking Pass for just $40. It comes with two parking passes (for two cars in the same household), grants you unlimited parking at Niagara Parks parking lots across Niagara Falls and is valid 365 days from the date of purchase.
You have to be a resident of Ontario, but you can opt to have it mailed to your address ahead of time, or you can pick it up at the office located at the far end of the Table Rock Parking Lot, right at the base of the Falls Incline Railway.
I purchase this pass every year and it pays for itself over and over. I don’t know how many hundreds of dollars we save a year by purchasing this $40 parking pass, but it’s well worth the investment!
Niagara’s Fury Address
Niagara’s Fury is located inside the Table Rock Welcome Centre at 6650 Niagara Parkway, Niagara Falls. You can also do Journey Behind the Falls from here! Plus, if you’re staying in the Fallsview Tourist area where the hotels are, you can easily take the Falls Incline Railway down to the Table Rock Welcome Centre.
If you purchase a Niagara Falls Adventure Pass Plus or Niagara Falls Pass, a 2-day Falls Incline Railway ticket is included in the package. The packages are a great way to save money in Niagara Falls and a fantastic way to experience some of the best attractions in Niagara Falls!
Did you know: Before 1950, Niagara Falls was eroding at a rate of 3-4 feet a year. The Niagara River Water Diversion Treaty formed between Canada and the USA to limit the amount of water being diverted for power generating purposes. This has helped slow the receding of Niagara Falls to an estimated 1 foot every 10 years!
